How To Record WebCam Video

1) First, open the webcam video window that you want to record.

2) Launch Bulent's Screen Recorder (BSR)

3) In order to select the webcam video window for recording, click on the 'Select Source' button.

4) You may select 'A window' or 'A Region' . 'A Window' is better if you can select the video window.

If you select 'A window', then when you move your mouse cursor on the webcam video window, a red frame will appear on the borders. Click 'Enter' key or 'F4' key to select it as source of video recording.

If you select 'A region', then you should select the region manually. Press 'Enter' key after you selected the region. A red frame will appear to show the borders of the region you've selected. (You can also enter the width and height values manually.)

Details about 'A Window' method : When the webcam video window is selected, you can carry it to anywhere on the screen while recording but it must on the top of desktop to be recorded.

Details about 'A Region' method : This will select a region on your desktop. A red frame will appear on your desktop after selection. You should keep the webcam video window in this region and not move out of it in order to record video.

5) Click on 'Record' button to start recording. You should keep webcam video on screen. If you see the webcam video on screen, Screen Recorder will see too.

6) Click on 'Stop' button to stop recording

7) Click on 'Play' button to watch the video you recorded, or 'Save' button to save it.

Your webcam session is recorded as a standard Windows video file (AVI) which can be displayed by all media players and you can convert it to Flash (SWF) or WMV.

Details about WatchIt Mode : In WatchIt mode, BSR will watch the webcam video if it is frozen or not. Pauses recording automatically when frozen. Continues recording when video stream starts to come. This mode will save you from unnecessary frames. In WatchIt mode audio can not be recorded. If you would like to record audio at the same time , you can record the video stream manually ( see description below about 'Manual Recording'.)

If you want to use the WatchIt mode always in the future, you can configure BSR to start in WatchIt mode in all sessions. This setting is done in 'Other Settings' window. See the help file.

Manual Recording :

You may record the video manually by not activating the 'WatchIt' mode. Apply the following steps 5 and 6 instead of the above :

How to Use it

Open Pronew,click "Options"
Click the "New Project" button to select a folder "MyProject"
If this project has a main file,use the second combobox to choose it and then mark it by clicking the "Main File" button(If you want pronew to open the main file for you, make sure the "Auto Open" checkbox is checked).
Close the ProNew Editor.
Right-click the Desktop, select the New command, you'll see a new item "pronew_MyProject". As soon as you selec it, a file will appear on your desktop, just press Enter then the ProNew dialog will appear.
If you press do nother else but press Enter again, a new folder named MyProject will be created on your desktop.

If you want new names for both the project and the main file ,just input something like "project1cool" before you Press the Enter key. If you want a new name for your project only, input something like "project1". Finally, if you want a new name for the main file only,input something like "cool".

Why do text looks too blurry in Internet Explorer 7?

Fonts in Internet Explorer are not displaying as clear as you want (they look blurry)?, it is all because of the ClearType feature of Internet Explorer 7.

I found, the same problem was appearing in Microsoft Frontpage.

What is ClearType?

ClearType is a subpixel rendering technology developed by Microsoft to improve your readability of text over LCD monitors (Such as Laptop screens or Flat Panel Screens). Sometimes ClearType can appear Blurry on CRT monitors. By default ClearType is turned on in Internet Explorer 7.

How to Turn Off ClearType Feature in IE 7?

Following are the steps to turn off/on the ClearType feature.

Goto Internet Explorer, click on Tools menu, then select Internet Options.
Then goto Advanced tab, scroll down to Multimedia Section.
Unmark the Always use Clear Type for HTML option, Click OK.
Restart Internet Explorer.

Using systeminfo command

The systeminfo command tells us all about a computer system. Here you can get the system uptime as well as the original date and time of the OS installation. This command works on Windows XP Pro. Not tested in XP Home (Some users said it wont work in XP Home).

Click on Start > Run
Type CMD (Will open Command Terminal)
Type systeminfo
Find system uptime there, you will also get install date and time above the uptime

In the above screenshot, you can see the format of the system uptime is Days, Hours, Minutes, Seconds.

RSS(Real Simple Syndication) is a very Powerful technology that has
been around for quite some time and when used correctly, can build an
audience overnight.

If you want a crash course on what RSS is, in more depth, since the
nature of this article is to show you how to get your Blogs "Site Feed"
listed in Yahoo! and MSN, I've provided a link to a page full of articles

Now, depending on where your Blog is hosted, whether its through a
free service like Blogger.com -- http://www.blogger.com or hosted on
your websites server you should have a "Site Feed URL" that has the
.XML extension.

This is your "Site Feed URL".

You'll usually locate it within your Settings area of Blog control center.

Here's what mine looks like as an example:
http://theiwe.blogspot.com/atom.xml

This URL is intended for a RSS News Reader, so disregard
its appearance.

Once you find your "Site Feed URL", copy and paste it into
Notepad because you'll need it for the next steps coming ahead.

Now, what you need to do is go and set-up an My Yahoo! and
My MSN account. I've provided the links for you below.

- My Yahoo! ==> http://my.yahoo.com

- My MSN ==> http://msn.com

It should only take you about 15-20 minutes at the most.

If you already have accounts with My Yahoo! and My MSN,
read on.

This is assuming you already have your accounts set-up,
so your next step is to Login to your My Yahoo! account.

When you login, you'll be taken to your Yahoo! page immediately.

What you want to do next is go look under the Yahoo! search
box to the left and click on the "Add Content" link.

This will bring you to a new page.

From there, over to the right by the "Find" button you'll see an
"Add RSS by URL" link, click on it.

A new window will open with a "Web Form". Simply copy and
paste your "Site Feed URL" from Notepad into the web form
and click on the "Add" button.

Now, you should see your Blogs name infront of you. Simply
click on the yellow "Add To My Yahoo!" button and your feed
will be added.

The next thing you should see is your "Site Feed" with your
"Headlines".

Click on one of them, it should take you to your Blog, to the
desired Headline you chose.

Your My Yahoo! page should Now have your Blogs "Site Feed"
Headlines listed at the bottom.

Scroll down to check. If you don't see them, it sometimes takes
up to 24-48 hours for them to appear, so just check back later.

Now that thats done, everytime you update your Blog with NEW content,
it'll "Automatically" update on your My Yahoo! page and everybody else's
pages who have subscribe to your feed, plus, within 24-48 hours your
feed will get Spidered and Indexed by Yahoo!.

Talk about getting the word out in a HURRY with very little effort on your part.

This is "Viral Marketing" at its Best in my mind.

And... it's so simple to implement.

Okay.

Now it's time to do the same to your My MSN account as what you
did above to your My Yahoo! page.

Here's the link to go login(click on Sign In from main page):
http://www.msn.com

Once your login to your My MSN account you should see an
"Add Content" link under the MSN logo to your left. Click on it.

A pop-up should now be displaying. Simply copy and paste
your "Site Feed URL" from your Notepad into the web form
provided and click the Search button(the green button with the arrow).

You should now be looking at Check Box with your Blogs name
beside it. Check off your "Site Feed URL" and then press the
OK button at the bottom.

PRESTO! Like magic... your Blogs site feed has now been added
to your My MSN page which will then be spidered in the next
24-48 hours and Indexed by MSN.

That's the Power of BLOGS(Web-Logs) and RSS(Real Simple Syndication)
combined with two Internet giants.

The only thing you have to bring to the table IS, fresh, quality
content that your audience WANTS, and do it on a regular basis.
